Members of the Greek EmbranceAll Hub and members of the Czech Mosaic Minds came to GZM Metropolis, Poland, where they spent as much as 2 weeks looking at the work of the FEIS Foundation and SIPE of the Silesian Institute of Political Education.
There was a lot going on as part of the project! Anastasia and Maria from Greece and Lukas and Jan from the Czech Republic in the first week visited many places throughout the GZM Metropolis, these were:
- ZSAEiO in Bytom, where we presented the result of the Polish-Ukrainian youth exchange,
- Katowice, where we met with members and SIPE members,
- Sosnowiec, where we attended the Congress Metropolia Kultury!
- And Krzyżowa in Lower Silesia, where we took part in a panel on the Erasmus+ program during the 4th Lower Silesian Youth Congress
Last week was a very busy one! Job shadowing participants, in addition to working in the GZM Metropolis, staying at the Local in Bytom and in Katowice, visited:
- Krakow, where they talked about activities in the academic community,
- And Opole, where they met with Opole City Councilor Alicja Wisniewska, who told them about youth activation in the city and the work of the City Council and the Youth City Council
Importantly, project participants from Greece and the Czech Republic jointly planned projects for the Polish foundation’s next activities, and discussed various options for carrying them out. We hope that this experience was valuable for our participants.
